What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files that a website may store on a user’s device. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage or other browser mechanisms.
They can support functions such as security, preferences, website operation and analytics.
Current Website Technologies
Ask TOSS uses session storage in your browser tab under the key toss.csp.askToss.v1 to remember selected corporate topics, answers and navigation progress. It is separate from the digital-site consultation. Use Start again to clear this consultation. Closing the tab normally clears session storage, although browser session restoration may retain it. The enquiry endpoint sets a necessary host-only toss_csp_enquiry session cookie restricted to /api/, with HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict and Secure on HTTPS. It supports request validation and duplicate protection. Blocking this cookie prevents online submission; email and WhatsApp remain available. The site does not use local storage, and no external analytics vendor is connected. Your consultation is sent to TOSS only when you submit the online enquiry with consent, or share an email or WhatsApp draft through those services. Normal hosting and server operation may still generate technical access and security logs.
Strictly Necessary Technologies
Some browser storage or cookies may be necessary for security or for a feature explicitly requested by the visitor. These may operate without optional marketing functionality.
Analytics
TOSS may introduce privacy-conscious website analytics to understand matters such as page usage, performance and conversion activity.
If analytics requiring consent are enabled, TOSS will implement the relevant consent controls before activating them where required by applicable law. No external analytics vendor is currently connected.
Marketing Cookies
TOSS does not state that advertising or behavioural tracking cookies are used unless such technologies are actually introduced.
If they are introduced later, this policy and the site’s consent controls must be updated before activation where required.
Third-Party Content
External services, embedded content or third-party platforms may use their own technologies when a visitor interacts with those services. Those third parties control their own technologies and privacy practices.
Managing Cookies
Users can manage or delete cookies through their browser settings. Blocking some necessary browser storage may affect website functionality.
Policy Changes
This Cookie Policy may be updated if TOSS changes the technologies used by csp.toss.ae.
